What is your role at Ava Recovery? What does that look like day to day?
Operations Manager. I have a hand in a little bit of everything. Doing a walkthrough of the facility making sure things are running smoothly, things are working properly along with making sure our staff is trained correctly, communicating with each department, daily audits, responsible for maintaining and increasing the efficiency of Ava.
What is your background?
I have been working in treatment for about 7 years, I went to college at Texas State university, i was born and raised in Texas.
Why do you love working at Ava Recovery?
Every client who comes through Ava is different in their own way but struggling with some of the same struggles I personally have gone through. I learn something from each of them that takes on the journey of recovery. Ava is a special place and I am grateful to be apart of it.
Why do you love working in this industry?
I want to help provide shelter for my friends from the storm.
What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?
Helping each staff member build up their confidence to strive in the workplace. I am passionate about nature, being a mother and wife and building my future one day at a time.
